On behalf of one of our premier clients, a leading DBA services company, we are seeking a bilingual (English / French) Oracle DBA Consultant for a two (2) year remote assignment.

This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in the USA! Contract pays an hourly rate of $80-90 per hour (1099 or corp-to-corp)

The Sr. Oracle DBA Consultant will be responsible engaging with a customer of our client to assess, analyze, and identify tasks or changes required to align their databases with performance and reliability in mind. You will be Designing, installing, upgrading, patching, tuning, monitoring and troubleshooting Oracle databases.

Background Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or technical discipline
• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience with exposure to multiple versions of Oracle database like 11g, 12c, 19c etc.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate required
• Expertise in supporting large database transformation programs in terms of upgrade/migration involving 100’s of databases with diverse application landscape
• Fluent in patching, cloning, database backups, and hands-on knowledge of OEM
• Skilled on the implementation of multi-node RAC Configurations, TDE and container databases and pluggable databases (CDB/PBD).
• Extensive experience in Oracle database upgrades, database migration leveraging different techniques such as Export/Import, RMAN, Transportable tablespace, Standby database creation
• Skilled problem-solving capabilities with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff
• Flexibility related to scheduling and available to perform 40 hours of work per week, without working a 2nd client simultaneously.
• MUST BE FLUENT IN BOTH ENGLISH & FRENCH and have excellent communication skills
