Position Title: Data Integrity Specialist

Reports To: Electronic Banking Supervisor

Department: Deposit Operations

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


Purpose
: The Data Integrity Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all data requests that are received in the department and entering the information into the Bank’s Core and Ancillary Systems.

Essential Functions
:

  • Evaluate requests received for accuracy and completeness. Enters customer and account level data changes into bank’s core and ancillary systems per instructions received on source documentation
  • Process account holds and collateral funds hold releases per bank policy
  • Execute orders for rate exceptions and calculate interest adjustments on large account balances
  • Review daily customer and account level exception reports for accuracy and make appropriate changes as needed
  • Review signature authorization on all dormant removal requests and changes account status when appropriate
  • Receive and process change of address requests and mailings from customers and from the branches
  • Key General Ledger descriptions into core
  • Process daily transactions on charged off accounts & reconciles monthly invoices for vendors to ensure accuracy for billing
  • Work on projects as needed and directed
  • Place stop payments on bank checks for the Abandoned Property process

Job Related Qualifications – Education and Prior Experience
:

Required:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior Experience: Years: 6 months Type: Banking or Financial Industry experience
  • Licenses or Accreditation: N/A

Preferred:

  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Prior Experience: Years: 1+ Type: Banking or Financial Industry experience specific to account opening/maintenance and related documentation

  • Licenses or Accreditation: N/A


Competencies
:

  • Possess strong keying skills with a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and integrity of processes performed.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
  • Dependable in meeting attendance requirements and schedules established for the department.
  • Responds to requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications with the ability to learn new and existing Banking software

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to regularly sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Able to regularly stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Able to lift 10 lbs.
  • Able to travel occasionally
  • Extensive computer usage is required.
  • Ability to work evenings occasionally
  • Ability to work weekends occasionally
