Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in analyzing and reporting on the operations of our taxi business. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and visualizing data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize our business operations and enhance our customer experience. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for utilizing data to drive informed decision-making.
Data Collection and Analysis
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, including transactional databases, customer feedback, and operational systems.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of key business metrics, such as revenue, utilization rates, customer satisfaction, and driver performance, to identify trends and patterns.
- Utilize statistical techniques and predictive modeling to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
Reporting and Visualization
- Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards that provide stakeholders with accurate and timely information on business performance.
- Create visually appealing data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards, to communicate complex data insights effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to taxi operations, such as driver efficiency, service quality, and fleet utilization, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Identify areas of inefficiency or potential operational bottlenecks through data analysis and work closely with relevant teams to implement process enhancements.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support operational decision-making and evaluate the impact of initiatives and strategies.
Data-driven Insights and Strategy
- Conduct in-depth analysis to identify customer behavior patterns, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop data-driven strategies and initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and reporting.

- Assist in designing and implementing data governance and data quality standards.
- Provide training and support to team members on data analysis techniques and tools.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the taxi industry operations, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects to contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a transportation or logistics-related industry.
- Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI is mandatory.
- Experience with Snowflake, Snaplogic, and dbt is a plus.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to learn and adapt to various external systems.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with taxi industry operations, regulations, and market dynamics is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
