POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, preferably in the consumer product packaging industry. The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients, managing order processing, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

OBJECTIVES

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Manage order processing, including entering orders, tracking order status, and coordinating with the production team to ensure timely delivery
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and production, to ensure customer needs are met
• Develop a strong understanding of our products and services, as well as the consumer product packaging industry
• Analyze customer feedback and develop strategies to improve our products and services
• Resolve customer complaints and issues by investigating the problem, identifying the cause, and developing and implementing solutions
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer service

COMPETENCIES

• Above average oral and written communication skills, including high proficiency in all MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to respond to all customer correspondence with a strong sense of urgency determining level of priority
• Ability to work well in a team environment, but also perform efficiently independently
• Must be highly organized and able to multitask on several projects at a time when necessary
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
• Proven work experience in a similar role

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in product assembly and packaging in the consumer product industry preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, driving, and/or sitting
• Position may require travel: Up to 50%
