Description of Work Unit
WORK UNIT
Housing and Dining Services RamCard office exists to produce and manage University identification cards and to oversee programs and services associated with the RamCard, including management of the University declining balance account, RamCash. The unit also develops and manages contracted University vending services.

Position Summary
This position facilitates customer service delivery and supplies administrative support in the RamCard Office to ensure prompt, professional, efficient, and consistent service to all constituents. Work includes developing the staff resources to deliver an excellent customer experience; overseeing office processes that are complete, correct, prompt and efficient; and evaluating policies, procedures, operations, and standards.

Position Minimum Qualifications
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering successful customer-centric services in a complex, high volume customer service operation
  • Experience providing administrative assistance in a professional office environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with people from a broad diversity of backgrounds
  • Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs (i.e., Excel, Access, Word, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in an intercultural context
  • Completion of college-level coursework
  • Customer service work experience at a college or university
  • Experience completing accounting support or bookkeeping tasks

  • Actively support the Colorado State University Principles of Community
  • Follow and uphold all Federal, State, University, and Department rules, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure customer service coverage during business hours
  • Manager on Duty (MOD) coverage and direct front-end customer support
  • Supply feedback on policies and procedures for customer traffic flow management and service production
  • Supply first level response to customer service concerns, addressing internal and external customer items including research, correspondence, tracking and follow-up as needed
  • Monitor and respond to RamCard customer messages and correspondence
  • Oversee production of a wide range of identification cards, badges, and declining balance account cards using card production and supporting administrative software
  • Help with routine maintenance of card production printers and supplies
  • Complete daily front office opening and closing for service delivery
  • Monitor to ensure sales transactions conform to required accounting procedures

  • Oversee submission of work order requests related to vending, RamCash, and internal technology issues
  • Oversee submission of work order requests related to the LSC office space and office equipment as needed
