Your Team
Reporting into the Customer Care Manager, the Warranty Care Representative is responsible for the day to day management and operation of their assigned neighborhood. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for end–user inquiries, and after sale issues (including warranty claims, marketing initiative support, and other general consumer queries).
Your Key Deliverables

Conduct Quality Walks and re-inspections to enforce Brookfield Residential quality standards in all new homes
-
Participate in the Orientation Tour process for smooth delivery of the home and the transitioning of the homeowner into the care of the Customer Care department
-
Respond to homeowner’s requests for service/repair of items covered by warranty within 24 hours or next business day (per the established company guidelines)

Complete service requests 15 days after the initial review and not to exceed our commitment to the homeowner that all items will be completed 30 days from date of review

Review and analyze customer warranty repair requests/claims to ensure compliance to warranty guidelines

Schedule, manage, plan and verify as appropriate, the corrective work performed by trades contractors and other general service and repair warranty that are not covered by trades contractor’s or manufacturer’s warranties

Approve trade partner invoices, send signed PO to trade partner, prepare SIR and back charge documentation (as appropriate)

Update the Outstanding Service Order report daily or as work order status changes

Attend weekly site meetings

Log and update customer service requests in database

Update and maintain a variety of reports for management and department’s use

Perform other duties as set forth by the Customer Service Director
Must Haves
-
2+ years’ experience in Customer Service
-
Solid understanding and knowledge of construction
-
Customer Service focused, with excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
-
Experience managing multiple priorities, effective judgment and time management
-
Team player, strong interpersonal skills
-
Accuracy and attention to detail
-
Demonstrate a high proficiency in using various applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel), and be familiar with email (MS Outlook) and internet applications
-
A valid driver's license
