Pritchard Industries is seeking a Custodial Manager in Youngstown, OH; who is responsible for directing a wide variety of janitorial services, for a higher-education customer. This position will be responsible for the supervision of custodial staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for organizing, scheduling, training, assigning, and performing daily work routines.
Must be able to plan and perform major cleaning operations, supervising and coordinating work projects, and coordinate with the customer on supervisory responsibilities to ensure quantity and quality exceeds expectations.
Inspect all assigned areas frequently to ensure that individual and building inspections meet service level quality standards, utilizing computer-aided inspection systems and other department provided tools. Supervise other related work as required.
Independently directs, assigns, supervises, and guides all assigned janitorial employees.
Plans and prepares work schedules and assignments.
Approves assigned employee payroll documents, payables, etc.
Completes assigned supply orders and billings.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years directly related experience that demonstrates knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning process.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
