The Institute for Critical Care Medicine of the Mount Sinai Health System in New York seeks dynamic fellowship-trained Intensivists to join its expanding team to attend in the Intensive Care Units at Mount Sinai South Nassau! Full time positions available.

Successful applicants will be outstanding, highly collaborative clinicians, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine with a passion for acute care and a shared commitment to our academic mission. Outstanding communication skills, a high emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment are essential.

This intensivist provides care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Units and supervises housestaff in the ICUs. This intensivist evaluates patients who may require ICU care when called by the Emergency Department or other inpatient units, including consultations for emergencies in other critical care units - Surgical, Cardiac, Neurologic, ICUs. This intensivist leads emergency responses and supervises medical housestaff in Medical Code, Rapid Response, and Sepsis Code Teams.
