Alabama Bio-Clean INC. is looking to hire crime scene cleanup technicians. Part-time and full-time positions are available. Technicians respond to our Birmingham office and travel to the job site. Travel throughout the state is required, often overnight.

Applicant must have the following qualifications and skills

  • Experience in construction, demolition, or building restoration
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfection
  • Be able to lift/move large pieces of furniture with or without assistance

Crime scene cleaning technician duties

  • The on-call personnel must be accessible by phone 24/7 (or) predetermined workdays available.
  • Clean MVR (motor vehicle record), background, and drug screening. This is a job for hard-working, honest, motivated, responsible, and dedicated people.
  • Strong tolerance to working in stressful, emotional circumstances. The candidate understands the potential for long hours and exposure to strong odors.
  • Must be able to work around biohazards and potentially hazardous environments.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning, construction, and the ability to work with common household power tools desirable.
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds unassisted in addition to wearing Tyvek suits, eye protection, and respirator.

  • Construction
  • Demolition
  • Restoration
  • Crime scene cleaning
  • Water restoration
  • Hoarding cleaning
  • Paramedic
  • HAZMAT
  • Construction

  • Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training (Preferred)

  • Day Shift (Preferred)
  • Night Shift (Preferred)
  • Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (Required)
