Job Purpose / Position Summary

Responsible for collecting on a designated accounts portfolio, maintains good customer relations and effectively solves problems in an effort to resolve account delinquency and manage risk.

Work Hours

• Monday-Friday, rotating schedule between 8:00am-6:30pm (8 hour shift between this timeframe). Work from home 2 days per week once fully trained!

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• While adhering to company policies and procedures, demonstrates good customer service skills while initiating outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers
• Negotiates account resolution and accurately inputs and documents actions within the collection systems while maintaining company performance and productivity standards
• Maintains up-to-date customer contact information in the customer maintenance file.
• May be required to support other queues to facilitate teamwork in the department
• Escalates and assists other team members with calls as needed
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
• Ability to multi-task

Minimum Experience, Knowledge, & Skills

• 3+ years of commercial collections experience preferred
• Accounts Receivable experience preferable but not required
• Exposure to tax resale certificates
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Basic Excel experience
• Strong work ethic
• Strong sense of urgency

Minimum Education

• High school diploma or equivalency - AA degree preferred but not required
