Job Summary –

Assist the Credit Supervisor in evaluating the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with the Bank by preparing spreadsheets, reports, summaries and opinions for Bank officers on new, renewal, and existing loans.

Essential Job Duties –

• Assist lenders with analysis of new credit requests and annual line reviews by providing:
  • Cash Flow and Debt Service Analysis
  • Collateral analysis
  • Preparation assistance with the Commercial Loan Credit Summary
  • Assist lenders with Loan Presentations
• Mentor the Loan Review personnel.
• Prepare financial spreadsheets on commercial borrowers using analytical software.
• Prepare debt-to-income ratios for residential real estate borrowers who are self-employed.
• Provide recommendations for approval and risk grading of relationships.
• Direct and assist with the following processes:
  • Assist in obtaining and maintaining financial information from borrowers
  • Administration of the Loan Review process in conjunction with the bank's contracted Loan Review provider
  • Coordination of the examination and audit process with banking regulators, the internal Auditor, Auditing firms, and the contracted Loan Review provider

• Prepare reports for management.
• Attend Officer Loan Committee.
• Comply with and maintain working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Complete assigned compliance training essential to job function.
• Punctual and regular attendance is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements –

• Bachelors degree in business relating to accounting, finance, computer science, or other closely related fields
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Must have a working knowledge of accounting practices, procedures, and processes
• Must be able to sit and work at a desk and on a computer for a long periods at a time
