SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

Responsible for operating and (de)mobilising the assigned crane in relevant configuration, moving and (re)positioning the load, performing periodic preventive and routine maintenance to ensure the assigned work is carried out safely and effectively in line the available work standards and instructions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • Mobilization and demobilization of the assigned crane in relevant configuration
  • Operating the crane in line with work standards and instructions
  • Positioning and repositioning the load
  • Performing periodic preventative and routine maintenance
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and effectively
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Professional level experience in heavy lifting operations and equipment and rigging operations and equipment. Basic level experience in mathematics (arithmetic), hydraulics and mechanics
  • English, basic proficiency verbal and written
  • Safety training and certification, crane operating license if locally applicable
  • Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
  • Three years of relevant work experience in a technical or transport environment
  • Secondary education
