Position Summary: * Shepherd Electric Supply, a leading Wholesale Distributor since 1892, headquartered in Baltimore with locations in Laurel and Frederick MD, Washington DC and Sterling, Virginia is seeking a highly motivated individual for our Counter Sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling to customers such as Electrical Contractors as well as Mechanical and Facility Service workers.

Schedule: *Monday Friday, 6:30 am - 3:30 pm (subject to change)

Essential Functions: *

• Work in a fast-paced, team environment supporting multiple product lines
• Demonstrates professional attitude, conduct and appearance
• Maintains customer satisfactions by assisting customers with identifying parts, providing quotes and processing orders
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Participates in trainings to maintain and grow basic knowledge of electrical products
• Performs all other associated tasks assigned by Leadership team

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 - 3 years experience in Electrical industry strongly preferred
• Computer proficient preferred, Eclipse software system helpful
• Ability to work on feet (stand and walk) for entire assigned work shift
• Able to repeatedly bend, stool or climb to transport work materials to include climbing ladders when necessary
• Capable of lifting and moving parts up to 70 lbs.
• Bilingual (Spanish), a plus
