As the Corporate Recruiter, you will work alongside the VP, People and hiring managers to handle full-cycle recruitment efforts, including but not limited to: sourcing candidates, interviewing applicants, coordinating interviews, writing job descriptions, and posting open positions. It is your responsibility to ensure a high quality candidate experience, as well as fill high priority roles at Near North America. In this role, you will also contribute to employee retention and maintaining a positive company culture. It will be critical for you to build relationships with hiring managers to identify and implement sourcing strategies that will drive talent to open positions. This position reports to the VP, People.
Our ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and independently motivated. This role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills as you’ll often be asked to work closely with others across different departments, and candidates applying for a variety of positions.
A Day in the Life:
Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs
Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
Host intake meetings for hiring managers to plan for positions and recruitment strategies
Develop a sustainable talent acquisition program around hiring plans and strategies
Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience
Write job descriptions and post open positions through an applicant tracking system
Assist in employee retention and development
Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events
What you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree, preferred
3+ years of experience in talent acquisition and full-cycle recruiting
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity
Proficient with social media and job boards
Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles
Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases, including SAP
Excellent communicator; comfortable interviewing candidates and interacting with hiring managers
Experience using various interview formats (e.g. phone, video, structure, group)
Well-organized with strong follow-up skills and an eye for a great candidate experience
A leader and strategic thinker
Ability to work independently
