The Organizational Development Manager manages talent programs to help provide business solutions to drive organizational success through people. This includes providing expertise and guidance to accelerate ND Papers capabilities and effectiveness to manage and develop our talent across the organization. This position will interact with external vendors and internal HR leadership teams in the identification of opportunities and development of solutions that will solve business challenges.
The ideal candidate must be self-driven, possess a high degree of ownership and have a strong business acumen. The candidate must have a demonstrated track record of delivering programs that drive value for the business, driving change, program management to execute new programs and ability to build relationships. Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate being a businessperson first and OD person second.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively Maintain safe operations for all employees in their area of responsibility and drive safe work practices throughout the organization.
- Build strategy, development, design, and enterprise implementation for identified talent programs including but not limited to:
- Human Capital Planning
- Performance Management & Goal Setting
- Team Building Initiatives
- Employee Engagement Initiatives
- High Potential Employee Development Programs
- Succession Planning Program Development
- Leadership Development
- Managerial Training
- Program manager and end-to-end ownership of identified talent programs
- Provide coaching and development in training areas to company leadership
- Understand industry best practice related to the talent space and with a subject matter expert lens, support to better utilize industry best practice to develop associates throughout their career lifecycle
- Leverage current merit-based performance management philosophy to support programs and organizational engagement
- Work closely with manufacturing & functional departments across the business to drive talent programs
- Analyze data regarding programs and partner with HR to provide insights and identifying solutions to close talent gaps in the businesses and functional areas
- Recognize where there may be gaps between company and business specific needs. Creatively find solutions to fill these gaps, where appropriate. Influence HR teams by advocating for change and sharing best practices.
- Continuously evaluate current systems and processes and advocate for enhancements to support business objectives. Make recommendations on the use of external consultants and internal facilitators as a cost-effective out-sourcing strategy to provide executive talent programs

Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years in a combination of setting up and managing a human capital planning process, high potential training and development
- Experience in training all levels within a manufacturing organization
- Experience in managing and conducting training classes
- Advanced oral and written communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizing and project management skills
- Knowledge of LMS and computer-based learning systems; knowledge of UKG a plus
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time
