We are looking for a creative, self-sufficient marketing coordinator or manager with strong project management and graphic design skills who is passionate about executing the marketing needs of Davidson's hotel portfolio. The ideal candidate will be well organized, high energy, a strong self-leader and highly collaborative.
What you will be doing everyday!
- Design flyers, posters, signage and other miscellaneous print collateral for Davidson and entire hotel portfolio
- Design print advertisements for magazines, trade publications and conference/event programs
- Design digital graphics for web properties, display advertising and email promotions
- Create PowerPoint presentations to support sales & marketing efforts
- Make basic copy / image changes on Davidson-owned web properties via Content Management System
- Manage ticketing system
- Update copy & images on monthly email newsletters
- Coordinate resources and information pertaining to marketing initiatives
- Proofread copy in order to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to participants
- Amend submitted designs per internal clients’ comments until receiving final approval
- Create and maintain project plans and documentation
- Ensure that all assignments are delivered on-time and within scope
- Track and analyze projects’ progress and report on any potential blockers, risks or deficits to management
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents
- Design and maintain databases
- Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents
- Arrange and coordinate meetings and events
- Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings
- Liaise with internal staff at all levels
- Interact with external clients
What will enhance your success in this role!
- 2+ years of experience in design / project management in a related field or organization
- Previous experience collaborating with Managers for the delivery of projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications
- Basic understanding of HTML
- Basic knowledge of popular social networks
- Basic knowledge of design principles, composition, color, layout and typography
- Willingness to be trained on and learn new platforms / applications
