This is an opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Corporate Compliance Officer. The Corporate Compliance Officer (CCO) under the direction of the CEO is designated to develop, coordinate and monitor the key elements of the Corporate Compliance Plan. This plan is based upon the TrueCare corporate mission statement, strategic enterprise management areas, and guidelines set forth by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, HRSA, the Office of Inspector General (OIG,) and in accordance with the Office of Pharmacy Affairs and the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rule.

Some of the essential functions include:
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operation of the TrueCare Corporate Compliance Plan.
  • Develop and manage the annual Internal Audit and Monitoring Work Plan.
  • Periodically revise the Compliance Plan in light of changes in the organization's needs and in the law and policies and procedures of Government and health plans.
  • Develop, initiate, maintain and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Plan and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Human Resources) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.
  • Ensure alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct by initiation of communication to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Monitor, and as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends.
  • Identify potential areas of enterprise risk; develop/implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.

Required Qualifications -
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or related field.
  • At least three (3) years of healthcare experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of business ethics and legal and compliance risks.
  • Experience with and understanding of federal, state, and regulatory policies as related to health care.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of health care delivery.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position. If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer generous benefits and retirement plans.
