Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Vice President, Systems Improvement, the Systems Improvement Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the System Improvement Department in Bassett Leadership Operating System curriculum development and training coordination, CFI and Systems Improvement portfolio reporting, Strategy Governance Council coordination and other support for the department. It facilitates the coordination and oversight of performance improvement initiatives for intake management and change management prioritization process, and provides administrative support, analysis, and summarization for monthly recurrences. Coordinator ensures all follow up actions and activities are completed as required. It oversees and assists the department with display of performance data for the departmental huddle board and Director Scorecards, and independently develops data dashboards, scorecards, and other reports Measures. The Coordinator makes performance improvement recommendations to leadership and provides a variety of high level functions to support performance improvement initiatives as identified.

Minimum Requirements:

Education/Qualifications:· Associates degree required · High School Diploma/GED highly preferred with an additional 2 years of experience may be considered Experience:· 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment working with clinical systems and workflows or in a teaching position. · 1 year of experience in healthcare analytics preferred· Bachelors degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience Licensure/Certificates:· Current NYS Driver’s License Skills:· Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet, database, presentation, and word processing software (e.g. Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint).· Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to prioritize to meet project deadlines. Self-motivation essential.· Able to manage multiple tasks and reprioritize often.· Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively· Excellent written skills. Ability to prepare senior leader level executive summaries and minutes· Ability to initiate healthcare performance improvement analysis. Physical Requirements:· Involves extensive work at computer station.· Busy office environment as well as frequent movement throughout the Bassett Cooperstown campus, and Regional travel required.
