Major/Essential FunctionsProvide all incoming undergraduate students with the necessary information and links to complete matriculation requirements (i.e. Virtual Orientation).
Track all matriculation requirements for all incoming undergraduate students (i.e. Criminal Background Checks, Prerequisites, Final Grades, and Degree Plan).
Work in a team dynamic with the Student Affairs team in meeting the workforce needs for tracking matriculation requirements for all pre-licensure incoming students.
Enter all student tracking information into the SON UPM program, HSC Xtender, and N: /drive files.
Email reminders to students of missing orientation requirements and/or missing grades.
Track all ACME Courses for all pre-licensure students and Medical Terminology for 2nd degree students.
Track Completion of Board of Nursing Criminal Background Check. All to be cleared prior to the first class day.
Supports the Values Based Culture of Texas Tech.
Develop and maintain desk manual with specific written procedures regarding process necessary for meeting the expectations of the position.
Participate as part of the Student Affairs team in planning and decision making of the division.
Create and manage databases, spreadsheets, queries, and electronic communication that support the operations of the division.
Create a welcoming and positive environment for students, staff, and faculty to ensure the interaction is an efficient and satisfying experience.
Ensure all incoming students have met all matriculation requirements prior to the first day of school each semester. 100% accuracy is required. Includes daily follow up with students as necessary to meet the requirement for the position.
Provide oversight and supervision of the TTUHSC SON scholarship program by working with students, members of the Scholarship Committee and other stakeholders to ensure that all scholarships accounts are being accurately used and distributed within established guidelines each semester.
Implement established policies and procedure to be used by the Scholarship Committee in determining scholarship awards.
Responsible for designing and developing processes to notify TTUHSC Financial Aid of award to support the distribution of funds.
All other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean for Education Support and Student Affairs.
Required Qualifications
High school graduation plus five (5) years progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may exchange for required experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field plus one (1) year related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
Student Affairs experience preferred.

Pay Statement
