Hello Lexington! We are Tropical Grille and we are incredibly excited to begin to add a few recruits to our team!
We are currently recruiting for all positions both Front of House and Back of House. Our front of house team members are the face of our business, as well as being able to handle anything that comes their way our expectations is that they are also able to turn around and fulfill an order when necessary. Our cooks are the backbone and heart of our operation. They are expected to uphold brand and food quality standards while always keeping cool and communicating effectively. Our candidates must be reliable and friendly as the position is very much dependent on their attendance we expect only A+ personalities to represent us. We plan on opening several locations in the area so this is a great opportunity to get on board with a rapidly expanding company that has plenty of room for advancement and has several new locations in the immediate future.
Candidates must have a Positive Attitude, High Energy Level, Strong Attention to Detail, Reliable Transportation to and from work, Professional Demeanor, Be Guest Focused, Have Excellent Communication Skills and a Genuine Passion for Pleasing People. Pay rates are competitive and generous for qualified candidates. Employees and managers receive tips on top of their pay and all full time employees can enroll in healthcare if desired. BACK OF HOUSE
General Purpose:
Back of House is responsible for prepping ready to eat foods and cooking food to order. Maintain high quality food standards
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to DHEC and Tropical Grille rules and regulations
- Prep food
- Adhere to Tropical Grille Recipes
- Assist putting away truck orders
- Cook food to order
- Communicating with management if help is needed
- Ensure proper rotation and labeling of food, FIFO
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and freshness
- Marinating chicken
- Prepare caterings
- Breaking down and cleaning grille
- Responsibilities are not limited to direct job description; we expect all team members to perform any additional tasks asked of them by management
