University Park Country Club (UPCC) is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food in accordance with the club’s recipes and standards. We are seeking an experienced cooks who have worked in a fast-paced, team, kitchen environment. UPCC, has a stellar reputation and is a semi-private country club that serves approximately 1200 residents in 32 communities, as well as banquet events. Full-time & Part-time Positions Available:

As a Line Cook, your position responsibilities include the following:

· Prepares all required items

· Serves up service units with needed items

· Serves items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards

· Notifies Chef of expected shortages

· Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary

· Assists the Chef in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen

· Maintains neat professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules

· Sets up, maintains, and breaks down prep cook station

· Requisitions items needed to produce menu items

· Adheres to state and local health and safety regulations

· Covers, dates, and neatly stores all leftover products that are re-usable

· Maintains the highest sanitary standards

· Assists with other duties as assigned by the Chef

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions.

· Thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation.

· Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes.

· Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.

· Ability work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Hourly Wage: Contingent upon experience
