Responsibilities:
Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a 120-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Westampton, New Jersey. We offer the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. We are looking for per diem Cooks to work a variety of shifts, day, evenings and weekends. You must be extremely flexible with scheduling and be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
In this role, you will assume responsibility for operating all kitchen equipment according to the proper standards and safety guidelines, setting up work area prior to beginning food preparation, assists in supervision of setting up food section of the cafeteria lines, serves meals when needed. Prepares food for all diet and functions while ensuring food preparation is completed by specified times, and checks temperature of hot foods before good goes out onto serving line. Utilizes leftovers in tasteful and eye-appealing dishes.

Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED certification.
- Ability to read and write in English to understand and create recipes.
- Minimum of two years working in healthcare facility as a cook, preferred.
