Come join our team! There is an exciting full-time cook opportunity at Eagle Crest Communities, working 80 hours per two week pay period. Shift times are 9:30am-6:00pm and 10:30am-7:00pm and include every other weekend and every other holiday.
We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual to join our top-notch culinary team. Our kitchen provides meals for up to 63 memory care residents, 34 high acuity assisted living residents, 36 traditional assisted living residents, and up to 80 independent living + residents and 112 senior living apartment residents at Eagle Crest South. We also prepare meals for up to 46 residents at our Cass Street Assisted Living community, as well as employee meals.
Being a Cook gives the opportunity to provide a high-quality dining experience for residents by creating attractive and nutritious meals while maintaining accurate meal documentation records. You will prepare meals relative to the nutritional needs of the residents, dietician recommendations, and Individual Service Plans (ISP) when necessary.
Requirements:
- Must be willing and eager to cook from scratch, have a positive attitude, and be customer service focused.
- Valid driver’s license and responsible driving record for occasional delivery of meals to Cass Street
- Background checks, run after an offer has been made, and offers are contingent upon successfully passing a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cook experience is beneficial and preferred, but not required. We will train the right fit for our team!
Our Wages:
- Our starting rate is between $16.50 and $20.00 per hour, based on your experience and qualifications.
- We pay for high performance! We will review your wage at six months.
