Job description
American West, an industry leader in the specialized trucking industry is looking for a Full Time Controller to work in the corporate office in San Luis Obispo. The controller is responsible for daily banking, managing cash flow, daily factoring and monthly close and analysis of the results. This position involves supervision over general accounting, property accounting, cost accounting, and preparation of recurring monthly reports including the P&L by the 10thof each month. Monthly close, journal entries, reconcile and correct balance sheet. Develop ways to become more efficient and reduce overhead costs; train and supervise the A/R and A/P Clerks and other assigned staff in the performance of their duty.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
