Threat Tec, LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business, has an opening for a Contracts Administrator to join our growing company. This position has the possibility of working at the Hampton headquarters, remotely, or a combination thereof. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Contracts & Pricing and will be responsible for a myriad of contracting duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, negotiate, issue, and administer T&M/ Labor Hour, Fixed Price, and Cost type definite and indefinite delivery subcontracts and task/ delivery orders, Non-disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and other agreements consistent with government client requirements in accordance with company, FAR/ DFARS/ agency-specific procurement policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain contract files that comply with company policies and procedures, applicable public laws, and acquisition (FAR/ agency specific/DCAA/ DCMA) requirements, and the requirements associated with an approved purchasing system.
- Create contractor solicitations, supports company proposals, conducts price and cost analysis, negotiates price/cost and price/cost related terms and other subcontract or other agreement provisions
- Ensure contracts/ agreements contain all necessary terms/ clauses/ “flow-down” clauses contained within company’s contract with company’s customer that will enable company to comply with the obligations of its contract with its customer.
- In coordination with company accounting staff, establishes cost/ pricing targets for contracted support.
- Provide interpretation, guidance, and risk assessment to management on matters of contractual nature.
- Ensure compliance with internal contracting policies.
- Maintains status of all prime contract and subcontractor agreements to include signature status, subcontract value and funding, period of performance, information related to deliverables, and other key elements,
- Perform the activities needed to comply with small business engagement requirements, including those that will enable the company to obtain a favorable review thereof.
- Tracks and reviews monthly contractor invoices for compliance; routes invoice approval form to facilitate proper approvals and forwards to accounting for processing.
- Ensure contractors’ compliance with required performance criteria.
- Develop a working relationship with different business teams to stay on top of requirements through regular meetings, emails, and other forms of communication
- Work daily with Program Managers, Project Controllers, and other program staff to administer and track subcontract actions.
- Performs financial analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program or programs.
- Develops and maintains reporting and analysis systems to guide the financial management of individual programs and contracts to achieve company objectives.
- Assesses program performance and tracks the performance against program budgets.
- Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree or additional years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 5 years related experience administering contracts/subcontracts, office administration functions, purchasing or contract administration.
- Experience working with relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS
- Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, negotiation, research, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Prior experience with Deltek CostPoint preferred, or other financial reporting/ERP systems
- Ability to obtain a DOD clearance if required
