• Develop and implement methods and techniques to increase the adoption of lean philosophy throughout the organization
• Analyze company processes and procedures.
• Develop process enhancement strategies.
• Investigate shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes.
• Establish KPI’s and standards of company performance.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to enhance productivity and staff satisfaction.
• Manage staff cohorts and teams of various sizes.
• Train, mentor, and guide team members in new processes.
• Initiate and lead process improvement activities to reduce costs and cycle time while improving safety and quality.
• Train employees in improvement techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream and other Lean activities
• It is every employee’s responsibility to be aware of and adhere to the applicable Safety & Health, Quality and Environmental Process of Plasma-Therm, LLC.

• Interface, as necessary, with entire business to educate and integrate Value Stream, six sigma and Lean philosophies.
• Participate in Business Planning sessions.

• Strong continuous improvement background, with 2+ years in a CI role, with experience of 5S programs, holding Kaizen events, deploying Lean training, Value Stream Mapping, etc.
• Lean Six Sigma certification required. Black Belt certification is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, business, engineering discipline, or technical degree with appropriate experience equivalent
• 3+ years of production experience
• Strong problem solving and project management skills required.
• Operational Safety background experience beneficial.

• Ability to translate technical specifications into customer/business requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written formats.
• Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Experience working within both a team environment and independently
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to synthesize and interpret technical data
• Must have strong technical and administrative skills.
• Must be able to interrelate well with personnel at all levels and possess good oral and written
