JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Construction Project Manager will plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish for Enterprise customers. Organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Must be well versed in construction methodologies and procedures and be able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organization skills and be willing to present strong verbally. Goal is always to ensure all projects are delivered on time, according to requirements and without exceeding budget. This role will also be a partner to the Director of Construction and the Director of Client Delivery. The ideal candidate will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be able to manage competing priorities, provide sound, logical planning of activities, and be a team player. The ideal candidate will have a good overall retail technology understanding, customer facing and project management experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
· Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
· Acquire equipment and material and be mindful of stocks to timely handle inadequacies
· Work with contractors and be able to allocate responsibilities
· Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
· Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
· Ability to interact with clients at an executive level
· Develop and maintain critical internal and external relationships
· Identify and drive process improvements
· Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
· Provide consultation, makes recommendations, gives appropriate advice, and/or facilitates decisions
· Evaluate risk management for each client and proactively evade dissatisfaction or lost business
· Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by staying in constant communication and efficiently resolving issues with alternate solutions whenever possible
Qualifications:
· Minimum 8 years of project management experience: Required
· Retail experience preferred. Familiar with various store technologies found at retailers including Point of Sale, Network infrastructure and back-office systems
· Excellent Working Knowledge of Microsoft Business Applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
· Excellent customer service skills
· Strong analytical skills
· Strong communications skills (verbal and written)
· Proven experience as construction project manager
· In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
· Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
· Good knowledge of MS Office
· Familiarity with construction/ project management software
· Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills
· A team player with leadership abilities
· BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field
· PMP certification
· Travel as needed
· Nights and weekends, as needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
