Construction Coordinator

The Construction Coordinator will support the Construction and Development Executives and department in maintaining project budgets, timeline and costs of multiple projects at various stages in development.

To be successful as a Construction Coordinator you should be a team player, calm, proactive and a problem-solver. Ideal candidates will have exceptional analytical and time-management skills, an ability to identify and utilize the different skills and talents of workers, a basic understanding of project management software, and unflinching respect for standard practices, rules, and regulations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support to the Owner, VPs of Construction, & Project Managers in day to day objectives
• Manage material take offs and delivery at the project sites.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents and Subcontractors on each project.
• Support Construction Executives with the bid process
• Oversee the entirety of the bid process:
• Reviewing and distributing plans to all subcontractors
• Prepare and approve change orders and contracts, while tracking budget cost
• Processing RFIs and submittals
• Adhering to both budgetary and time constraints.
• Reporting on progress and challenges
• Listen to, understand and effectively respond to Management needs and concerns

Requirements:

• Must be able to read and understand plans and specifications.
• 2-5 years’ experience in construction coordinating and/ or administrative duties required.
• Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Procore
• Must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be a team player
