Mini Melts is looking for a dependable, detail oriented, and adaptable individual to supervise our concession stands at PNC Park. Mini Melts has 3 concession stands throughout the stadium and 1 mobile concession stand that we use for Kids’ Sundays at the park. This individual will work closely with and manage our gameday staff of 6-12 concession stand associates serving Mini Melts customers. This individual will be responsible for training stand associates, scheduling, opening and closing of the concession stands, serving customers, inventory and ordering, equipment maintenance, nightly sales reporting and problem resolution for every Pirates home game. ● Location: PNC Park 115 Federal St Pittsburgh, PA 15212 ● Hours: All Pirates Home Games. Start/End Times Vary Depending on Scheduled Game Time. ○ Required to arrive 2 hours prior to game time and work for 1-2 hours after the game ends ■ End time varies depending on speed of play, weather delays, and extra innings ○ Will be required to do cleanup, delivery, and set up at the stadium on select Pirates off days to prepare for upcoming homestands ● Uniform: Mini Melts Shirt, long black pants and black shoes. No visible tattoos, extraneous visible piercings, and a “natural” hair color. Job Responsibilities: ● Work closely with Aramark throughout the season to resolve all issues, upkeep equipment standards, track sales, promote the product, and onboard new employees. ● Management and maintenance of inventory for ice cream, cups, spoons, and other supplies across our 3 concession stands located throughout PNC Park ○ Before and after each game, individual must complete a full inventory of all Mini Melts items throughout the ballpark ● Consolidate all Ice Cream in the park into secure vending commissaries located throughout the stadium after each game ● At the end of each game, reconcile and account for all sales from each stand using Aramark’s order processing system. Submit these reports to Mini Melts Management each night. ● Place weekly orders for Ice Cream and supplies for all Pirates’ homestands to ensure we are prepared for every game. ○ These orders will be fulfilled from our Mini Melts warehouse in Cranberry Township, PA. ○ Deliveries will take place on Pirates off days. This individual must be present for all deliveries ● Report to the stadium on Pirates off days to clean all equipment, reorganize freezers, ice cream, and supplies to prepare for the next homestand ● Greet all customers and fans in attendance in a polite, professional manner ● Represent Mini Melts in any and all interactions at the ballpark ● Scoop Mini Melts into cups of various sizes for the customers to enjoy ● Close down and secure all Mini Melts concession stands at the conclusion of each game. ● Ensure all ice cream is stored and handled properly to avoid any possible spoilage or loss of product. ● Handle all customer interactions or concerns in a professional manner ● Be the main point of contact between Aramark, Mini Melts Management, and gameday staff during all Pirates’ home games ● Ability to stand for long periods of time ● Ability to lift 20+ lbs
