Nature of Work:
Performs technical, professional, and analytical work pertaining to the installation, use and maintenance of network attached personal computers. An employee in this class is responsible for analyzing hardware and software needs, installing hardware and software and training personnel in the use of computer applications and equipment. Employee conducts physical installation of equipment which involves lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and crawling. Work is performed under general supervision and performance is reviewed through observation, discussion, effectiveness of results achieved, and feedback from clients and coworkers.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or public administration, or related field. Twelve months of experience operating, installing, analyzing, and maintaining personal computer systems, including hardware and software as applicable; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must pass background check. Florida driver license required.
VALID DRIVER LICENSE FROM ANY STATE MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF INTERVIEW. VALID FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE MUST BE PRESENTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF HIRE.
