Job description
- ATL International is seeking a Compliance Engineer for to join our team to support new and existing radiological facilities and the upgrade, repair, and maintenance of site infrastructure at a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) project in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Required Skills
- Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products
- Interface with a wide variety of stakeholders during scoping, engineering, and troubleshooting
- Apply detailed engineering solutions that touch upon the mechanical, radiological, structural, and environmental fields in order to improve upon existing operations
- Creating work packages based on governing documents and training, researching facility operations and industry best practices, interacting with the operations team as the work package is implemented in the facility
- Learn how to merge traditional engineering with radiological controls
- Specific training will be provided to qualified individuals
- DOE Clearance
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering
- Proven working experience in Radiological work
- Provide technical direction and support for the execution of radiological work
- Work in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Experience working on federal projects
- Ability to communicate project status to various internal and external parties
- Work collaboratively with project team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $86,297.00 - $89,736.00 per year
