The Compensation Analyst will be a key member of C&W’s global compensation team in supporting the Global Human Resource team. This position is responsible for ensuring timely administration of various compensation-related functions including market pricing, reporting, and compensation data audits. Actively participates in multiple compensation program development activities.Job Description
Responsibilities
- Works with the HR People Partners in support of compensation related requests for information/market pricing. Reviews, evaluates, and market prices jobs using multiple market pricing tools. Maintains job evaluation data/tools for all positions within the America’s organization
- Participates in various compensation surveys; review and analyze wage data upon publication of the results
- Complete internal equity reviews as requested
- Design, generate, consolidate, and manipulate data from and to various systems in order to capture data and provide meaningful complex reports/summaries based on customer needs
- Proactively work with HR systems team in an effort to maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the organization’s central record keeping System
- Create and run audit reports to maintain compensation data integrity on frequent basis
- Provide complex ad-hoc reporting of compensation data
- Assist in the annual compensation cycle, as required or requested
- Provide guidance and assistance regarding compensation trends and analytics, job evaluation, salary administration, compensation systems, programs, policies and procedures. May assist in the development of compensation related procedures
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing compensation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, or the equivalent in related work experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Compensation Analyst, or the equivalent, demonstrating the ability to analyze and provide insight on large volumes of data
- Working towards Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred as well as Global Compensation experience preferred.
- Demonstrates advanced Excel and reporting skills
- Demonstrates strong business acumen and influencing skills as well as the ability to build credibility quickly
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and take initiative to research and resolve questions/issues/concerns in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects and a willingness to take on new responsibilities. Must be detail oriented, accurate, and highly organized
- Demonstrates excellent consultation skills and the ability to seek out information and work effectively with all levels of employees within the organization
- Demonstrates the ability to understand complex data and provide relevant interpretation of the data
- Demonstrates the ability to manage confidential information and ensure that it is kept in the strictest of confidence
- Demonstrates the ability to multi-task in a quick-paced environment
- Demonstrates the ability to interact and communicate with the HR community and leaders of the Organization
- Must be customer-service focused and able to interact effectively with all levels of employees and managers in a team-based environment. High level of agility and sense of urgency in dealing with internal customers
- Demonstrates excellent MS Excel and analytical skills; ability to work with large amounts of confidential data (vlookups, pivot tables, complex formulas, graphics, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Demonstrates knowledge of HR Systems; strong Work Day knowledge preferred
- Demonstrates general knowledge of local, state, and federal compliance laws, including DOL, FLSA, and Anti-Trust Regulations

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
