Annual Salary $65,000.00 + Full State Employee Benefits

Under general supervision, this position performs recruitment activities related to recruitment of community partnerships that help OKDHS meet agency goals through collaboration. Duties relating to community outreach, advocacy and awareness throughout Oklahoma with a focus on partnerships with organizations that serve the overlapping populations with OKDHS divisions.
Job Duties
The Community and Faith-Based Community Recruitment Coordinator will cultivate and maintain, relationships and partnerships at the local level with civic, business, faith-based, service providers, tribes, and other community groups to support program divisions and assist with meeting the mission of OKDHS.- Regional leads develop and maintain relationships with community partners and OKDHS staff in assigned region.
- Administers Service First (SF) supporting local leadership and maintain relationships with partners along with serving as the contract monitor on all SF MOUs.
- Strengthen relationships with the faith based community.
- Administer the CarePortal program statewide for Child Welfare Services.
- Represent the agency and Strategic Engagement at various meetings and events in the community.
- Coordinate regional partner summits and appreciation events. Lead and Coordinate community engagement and partnerships special projects and initiatives (convene partners at the local level).
- Assist partners in navigating OKDHS processes.
- Provide technical assistance to internal and/or external stakeholders related to community engagement and partnership development.
- Increase collaboration and strengthen relationships with tribes at the state and local level.
- Will work on a diverse team and directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of a Master’s Degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in government or nonprofit.
OR
- A Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of professional work experience in government or nonprofit.
