The role:

This critical role will provide support for the Virgin Unite Community team with a particular focus on event, impact tracking and administrative and logistical support.


Key responsibilities:

Event and Curation Support

Support the Community team and any gathering moderators with the following:

  • Event logistics support
  • Speaker management including agency relationships
  • Create a curation framework and minute by minute plan by gathering.
  • Moderator and content support.

Impact Mobilization and Tracking

  • Overall responsibility for monitoring and tracking delivery and impact
  • Shape events with Community Managers to help inspire and generate as much tangible impact as possible, through both direct and indirect impact, and by setting impact / leverage goals by trip
  • Identify and share community impact

Logistical and Administrative Support

  • Coordinate the creation of materials and collateral including but not limited to updates to members, event materials, briefings for key stakeholders, internal reports, and external communications
  • Help manage internal processes and compliance requirements, contributing to vendor management, due diligence checks, contract research.
  • Data upkeep and CRM management.
  • Contribute to the Community Team delivering high quality and timely input into board papers and presentations.

For this role we need you to be/have:

  • Organizational wizard, good at working with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Reliable, deadline driven, and detail-oriented
  • Strong desire to help change the world for the better
  • Ability to draft clear, concise and inspiring stories, often in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience designing and producing themed events and convenings with structured
  • Strong senior-level relationship builder
  • Comfortable to work in a reactive, busy, changing environment
  • Forward thinking approach and solution focused
  • Experience with event production, communications with social impact at the core is ideal
  • Experience with budgets and data management
  • Project management experience
