Looking to join a dedicated team of professionals developing communications solutions for the US Navy and Coast Guard? As part of our C5ISR Solutions team, you will design, integrate, and install systems that support enhanced military capabilities, protect national security, and keep critical information and infrastructure secure. We are looking for an Electrical or Systems Engineer to add their skills to our team supporting the development of shipboard communications systems, including terrestrial and satellite radio systems, cybersecurity, networks and computing systems, and telecommunications. This is an opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies to develop real-world solutions.

In this job, you will:

• Research, select, and integrate communications hardware and software to meet customer requirements.
• Develop solutions utilizing a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach with the latest Systems Modeling Language (SysML) tools.
• Integrate, install, and test communications systems in laboratory and shipboard environments.
• Acquire and mature your knowledge of a broad range of communications technologies and apply your expertise to solve emerging challenges.
• Lead projects of increasing complexity and leverage the diversity of a global defense company to advance your career goals.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in St. Mary's County, near to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. It is preferred for candidates to work on site, however remote work may be considered in some cases.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
• Ability to work well in a team environment or independently as required

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML), MATLAB, DOORS, CAD or other engineering, mathematical, and modeling toolsets
• Educational focus on RF, antennas, computing systems, or telecommunications
