Commissions Specialist/Reporting/ERP Accounting/Financial person (We use NetSuite, Sales force, SQL)

***Hybrid role! Work from home 3 days per week/2 in office upon training.

No degree necessary but some solid accounting/financial background needed; preferably in commissions/revenues/forecasting analysis/reporting

*Rapidly growing lighting company in Niles, IL looking to fill this position quickly!

This role touches several key areas of the accounting department and will assist in reporting, and ERP management. From the reporting side the employee will work closely with the controller and FP&A director to develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and yearly financial/commission tools for our executive team. Employee will be the primary manager of the commission program. They will be responsible for calculating daily and accruing commissions on a monthly basis and reconciling our commissions due to the manufacturing reps receivables. When it comes to managing the ERP, the employee will take on the role of a super user. They will attain intimate knowledge of the system so they can create new reports on the fly, help manage the database, and troubleshoot complex issues for coworkers.

Responsibilities

· Preparation and maintenance of reports and databases.

· Improve analytics and insights.

· Create and execute continual process improvements

· Forecast analysis of KPIs, commissions, and business health metrics.

· Manage customer inquiry inbox and execute the Service Level Agreement.

· Provide a high level of customer service to our manufacturing representative community

· Calculate and accrue commissions for all sales within the month.

· Regularly review open commissions with manufacturing representatives to ensure our books are aligned with theirs.

· When discrepancies occur between our commission calculation and the representatives, reconcile and resolve said variance.

· Help with the integration and adoption of new ERP.

· Learn SQL to help with the maintenance of the database and assist in mass changes when necessary.

· Become one of the primary ERP point of contacts to troubleshoot issues that arise within the system and contact support when necessary.

· Other duties as assigned & Ad hoc reporting.
