Reporting to the SVP – Commercial Team Leader, this Commercial Lines Service Leader’s primary duty is the supervision of two or more full-time employees and the overall direction and management of the Maitland Account Executive Assistant - Service team including the day-to-day operations and overseeing all aspects of the service process we provide to our clients.

Essential Duties and Functions:
  • Directly supervises two or more teammates in the Service Division of the Maitland Account Executive Assistant Commercial Lines Department to include hiring, performance reviews and terminations.
  • Responsible for teammate training, productivity and coordination of activities associated with the Service Division.
  • Understand workflow and workloads of service team members, recommend and implement solutions to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Manages service needs for an assigned book of business.
  • Build, expand and solidify relationships with clients at all levels within the company and lead appropriate resources to address the client’s needs, including risk and the identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues.
  • Oversight of the carrier relationships, scheduling training and development opportunities for members of the service team.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with producers and teammates within the office.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
  • 2-20 Property & Casualty license
  • Strong, general base knowledge of all Commercial Lines
  • Ability to act and motivate others to follow and achieve desired results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects
Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Senior Account Executive or similar position
  • Working knowledge of AMS360 and ImageRight
