Job description
Primoris Industrial Civil is seeking an experienced and detail- oriented Commercial Project Services Manager for our project in Hastings, NE to oversee the commercial aspects of our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients, while maximizing profitability. ***THIS IS A PER DIEM PAID ROLE - CANDIDATES OUTSIDE OF NEBRASKA APPLY TODAY!***
Key Responsibilities for Commercial Project Services Manager:
- Manage the commercial aspects of our projects, including contract negotiations, change management, and cost control.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
- Develop and maintain project budgets and financial forecasts, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Develop and implement project controls and reporting systems to track progress against budgets and schedules.
- Manage the change management process, including reviewing change requests, assessing their impact on the project, and negotiating change orders with clients.
- Ensure that all contract terms and conditions are met, and that contractual risks are identified and managed.
- Manage the procurement process for project materials and services, including negotiating prices and terms with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Provide regular reports on project performance to senior management, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
Qualifications Commercial Project Services Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, commercial management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of project management best practices and project controls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights and recommendations.
- Experience with project management software and financial analysis tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
