Job Description:
As a member of the Private Business and Professional Services Team, the Commercial Loan Administrator will provide support to SVB Private Credit Solutions teams at all stages of the lending action. This role facilitates both client-facing and operational tasks, exhibits deep knowledge of processes, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Credit due diligence, loan bookings, portfolio/covenant management, credit file maintenance, assisting with monitoring credit quality and loan documentation.
- Superior customer service skills required: written, verbal, and non-verbal communication; Active Listening – Actively looking for ways to assist internal and external “clients”; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a wide range of people.
- Ability to read, write, analyze and comprehend instructions, routine business correspondence, procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3-5 years previous experience in financial operations and client service
- Team player, self-starter, disciplined worker, with the ability to independently drive tasks to completion
- Ability to meet tight timelines and manage multiple competing priorities while delivering sound results
- Exercises creativity, critical thinking, analytical thinking, and collaboration to solve control problems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Enjoys collaboration and building relationships across various functions
- Prior work experience: experience within a business/commercial/corporate banking environment is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of nCino, Salesforce, DocuSign, RIMS and FISERV preferred

Base Pay:
Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
