Job Overview

As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for the installation, removal, maintanence, and repair of commercial hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware. A Field Service Technician's duties will include testing, trouble shooting, measuring, and problem solving as well as being responsible for the safe and appropriate operations of tools and equipment required. You will be representing the company during regular shift and overtimes hours, requiring safe work performance at customer locations.

$18 - $27 per hour, depending on experience.

Tools and a take home company vehicle will be provided.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Perform equipment installation, removal, maintenance and/or repair as specified in the customer order.

· Use of tools, measurement & test equipment as dictated by the specific equipment and situation.

· Determine and document cause of failure.

· Advise supervisor or Field Service Coordinator of additional materials/parts required to complete the job.

· Perform and document final testing and/or confirmation measurements.

· Return all completed job cards, initial & final measurement & test documentation, photos, etc. to the Field Service office.

· Facility repairs and improvements when not in the field.

Qualifications

· Experience preferred but not required. Pay dependent on experience.

· Must have a valid driver’s license.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team as applicable.

· Knowledge of or the ability to learn safety rules and procedures, and operating policies and procedures.

· Must be able to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.

· High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
