Job Summary
The Commercial Coordinator II is responsible for providing a sufficient level of support for commercial or syndication loan requests from the time of application to closing. This position will be able to provide support through the entire commercial loan process through proper documentation while balancing service, quality and compliance and relationship building.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Works closely with Commercial Lenders and Credit Analysts to obtain documentation required for timely loan closings.
- Customer Data Entry into Core Systems.
- Communicates with Servicing Department to help ensure proper time management of file process.
- Works Closely with Post Closing Department for proper documentation tracking.
- Provides customer service to internal and external customers.
- Understands and complies with industry regulations.
- Maintains customer confidence by keeping client information confidential.
- May mentor more junior level coordinators as needed.
Qualifications
- Understand and comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy.
- Team oriented, possesses a positive attitude and works well with others.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years' related experience required, commercial loan operations experience preferred.
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
