A national distributor has an immediate **HYBRID** opportunity for an experienced Commercial Collections Specialist on a full-time, contract basis. This role is estimated to last 6+ months. This role will train 1-2 days in office then allow flexibility to work remote, coming into the office only as needed for quarterly team meetings, training, etc. Typical hours are Mon- Fri, 8-5, but there is flexibility.

Essential job duties include:
calling and emailing commercial customers regarding aged accounts receivable invoices
documenting collection efforts
daily posting of customer payments received via check, wire, ACH & credit card
responding to customer account inquiries
sending customer statements and/or invoices as requested
reconciling customer accounts
other misc. duties as requested

2+ years of business to business collections experience
intermediate Excel proficiency
experience working in large ERPs such as PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, etc.
history of excellent attendance
ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability
ability to stay on task and productive while working in a remote environment
