JOB SUMMARY:
The CNA/HHA provides personal care and related service in the patient's home He/She functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Director of Nursing, and/or appropriate personnel.
REQUIREMENT FOR THE CNA/HHA:
- Preferably High School graduate
- Ability to read and write consistent with job requirement
- Completion of basic aide training program - Must have a certificate
- Possess the ability to demonstrate reliability and punctual attendance
- Emotional and mental maturity necessary for establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with patients/clients, their families, and all staff
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CNA/HHA:
- Assists in maintaining healthy and safe environment within the home
- Provides assistance with personal care and activities of daily living
- Plans nutritious meals and grocery shops for client, as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPPA regulations

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a driver’s license and own a car
- Pass background checks and drug screens
- 1-year previous HHA experience
