We are looking for skilled, compassionate and motivated Medical Assistants to join our dynamic team! _ We currently have opportunities at both our Interquest Pkwy and Fillmore & Cascade clinic locations. _

Our Clinical Liaison / Medical Assistants work closely with providers to deliver exceptional care for patients in our clinic by scheduling tests, patient appointments, referrals, pre-authorizations, monitoring of vital signs, and answering patient/family questions.

What do you do?

• Greet and room patients, take patient vital signs, and answer questions regarding pre and post-operative instructions.
• Record patient medical history and additional pertinent information, such as test results, in medical record.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition as necessary.
• Administer appropriate treatment under the direction of provider and assist in patient care.
• Assist in prior authorization and respond to patient questions.
• Report emergency situations immediately.
• Assist in patient discharge and scheduling.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, scheduling, data entry, and/or patient registration.

• MA certification preferred, CNA, EMT or equivalent experience will be considered

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Experience:

• Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Medical Assistant certification / registration (Preferred)
