Full Time and Part Time Intake Coordinator

We are urgently seeking to hire (2) Intake Coordinators at ACI Drug Rehab in Brooklyn, NY 11212.

We have (1) Full Time Intake Coordinator and (1) Part Time Intake Coordinator position open.

Intake coordinators are the first point-of-contact persons to welcome, register, and admit patients at the drug rehab. The Intake Coordinator will gather information about the patient and create patient records. The Intake Coordinator will also answer questions related to services and make referrals when necessary.

Intake is a tough job as you are truly the frontline and get the patients in their worst state. The ideal Intake Coordinator needs to be quick on their feet and be able to thrive and a hectic and sometimes high-stress environment. There are good days and bad days – mostly good if the person has the right personality for the role because they can mitigate situations and decrease agitation by the sick and inpatient patients.

We have (2) shifts. The shifts are 10:00AM-6:30PM and 3:30PM-12:00AM.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with Mental Health and Addiction is a PLUS
• Excellent computer skills, computer savviness, and ability to quickly learn new system.
• Prior experience as an Intake Coordinator or similar medical backgroundin a drug rehab environment.
• Tough yet compassionate, sympathic and understanding to patients.

Note*: This position requires weekend flexibility. Occassionally, staff will be asked to come in to work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
