The Lower Pioneer Valley Educational Collaborative (LPVEC) is seeking a Health Assisting Clinical Assistant to begin employment for January for our 2023 school year.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to provide instruction and training in Health Assisting at Lower Pioneer Valley Career and Technical Education Center.

• You will provide assistance in all instruction and training necessary to provide the necessary learning experiences to qualify students for placement in entry-level positions. Manage student behaviors, both individually and in groups.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with parents, industry, and the community and encourage participation in program. Work collegially with other LPVEC staff members.
• Must assure compliance with regulations of all state and local governing contracting agencies. Instruction and training of high school students in the Health Assisting program necessary to guarantee the quantity and quality of learning experiences to qualify these students for entry level positions in local business and/or continued education.

Requirements:
Associate’s Degree required
Valid Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse license
Minimum 3-5 years in the Health Assisting field.
Vocational-technical teaching experience preferred.
Experience with all aspects of the Health Assisting field.
Provide transportation (using school van) and supervision to students during off-site clinical experiences.
Ability to interact with related business, industry, and public agency personnel, students, parents, teachers and local school administrators and staff.
