Position reports to: IT Mgr
Job Summary
This position is for IT Application Support who supports the mission of "Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships" in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management, and medically assisted treatment. The IT Application Support responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Taking live inbound calls, working voicemail, service tickets, & email request
  • Works IT help desk tickets in a timely manor
  • Maintains in depth knowledge of clinical information systems and data retrieval as well as the most efficient and effective ways for medical and clinical personnel to be able to access the data for patient treatment.
  • Assists teammates with training on newly deployed documentation and provides ongoing support of health information management.
  • Creates training for clinical workflows and provides guidance throughout the scope of implementation projects.
  • Works closely with Information Technology Team, Clinical Team, and vendors to develop and manage information systems and assists in system rollouts.
Education:
  • Graduation from an accredited high school or GED
  • Post graduate IT education/certification or equivalent; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
  • Experience supporting Healthcare application
  • Experience with basic clinic processes
Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
  • Excellent communication skills and active listening
  • Empathy for teammates, patience and understanding
  • Strong diagnostic skills
  • Willingness to Learn and Grow

Work from Home Policy: mostly onsite, WFH as needed
Interview Process: 1) 30 Min virtual call w/ hiring mgr 2) 60 min onsite w/ team 3) Offer
Work Environment/culture and Dress Code: business casual
Skills Required:
  • Healthcare experience preferred- Carelogic EHR or equivalent
