RiverView Health, is a community owned, membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN.


RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities:
RiverView Health has an opening for a full-time (64 hours every 2 weeks) for a Clinic Patient Access Representative. The Clinic Patient Access Representative will perform all duties related to the pre-registration, registration, and financial clearance processes for all patients. Provides customer service to patients and orients patients to the registration process. Clinic Patient Access Representatives communicate directly with patients and families, physicians, nurses, insurance companies and is responsible for collecting all pertinent data as well as applicable co-pays upon presentation. This position will be required to work a variety of shifts Monday thru Friday between 7 a.m.and 7 p.m. and every 8th to 9th weekend. Salary range is $16.76 - $23.47 and starting wage is dependent on experience. Sign on bonus available.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Previous Customer Service experience is preferred.
  • Previous work experience in Patient Access is preferred.
