Anchorage Sleep Center is seeking a Clinic Manager to support the development of our fast-paced specialty medical group. We are a full-service sleep medicine practice dedicated to serving the community with unparalleled patient care with locations in Anchorage, Wasilla, Fairbanks, Juneau and Soldotna. This individual will play a key role in delivering the highest quality of care to our patients while maintaining efficient and seamless clinic operational flow.
Description:
- ·Actively participate in and supervise clinical operations, direct patient care, and patient education to ensure effective operations in accordance with practice standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and family members, medical staff and outside contacts.
- Investigate and respond to patient grievances, referring issues to others as needed.
- Manage activities and schedules of assigned staff, ensure optimal staffing across functional areas within clinic and amongst other clinics.
- Provide appropriate training on an ongoing basis; review, plan, and evaluate workload of staff and make recommendations for optimization; participate in quality assurance efforts.
- Handle performance management and respond to employee-related issues. Participate in hiring.
- Measure and monitor key performance areas of the clinic. Recommend ways to promote continuous quality improvement, customer service, and employee satisfaction.
- Assist the Practice Manager in performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the day-to-day operations of the office(s) run smoothly.
- Ensure the accuracy and administration of schedules; make travel arrangements when needed.
- Monitor adequate stock of regular supplies and place orders for needed inventory.
- Reconcile in-office payments and ensure adherence to the cash handling protocols.
- Lead and participate in projects as assigned to attain desired outcomes and meet goals within projected time frames.
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree, preferred, 5+ years of work experience in an outpatient healthcare setting and 2+ years in a supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Self-starter able to take initiative and manage competing priorities and changing workloads independently.
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills, creative problem solving and sensitivity for the patient experience.
- Ability to provide training and communicate in a knowledgeable and articulate manner with staff members and to deal with the public in a professional and tactful manner, as it relates to questions or concerns regarding patient's conditions, status and care preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude, ability to effectively utilize and troubleshoot common office computer programs and equipment. Ability to multitask while working in different software applications.
- Regular attendance to ensure efficient clinic operations

- Willing to travel / commute to other locations within Alaska on as-needed basis
