Job description

The Town of Spavinaw is currently accepting applications for the position of Town Clerk/Court Clerk/Treasurer. The salary is set at $18/per hour for 30 hours a week- paid biweekly. Hours will vary depending on the efficiency of the office. Monday through Friday is expected with Wednesdays open for errands.

Attendance at all regular and special meetings of the Board of Trustees and monthly Municipal Court are required.

Interviews for the position will be conducted on April 13, 2023, at 6:00 pm.

A good candidate for this position will possess a basic knowledge of purchase orders, budgets and audits, and have a general understanding of office procedures.

They will be required signors to the bank accounts of the Town ofSpavinaw. The bank will perform a credit check to ensure eligibility. A current background check and valid driver’s license will be required.

This is an official position representative of Municipal Government of the Townf Spavinaw. Training will be provided. A general understanding of government and meeting proceedings is a bonus.
